The story revolves around Mahalakshmi, the daughter of Viswanatha Raju and Rajeswari. Viswanatha Raju moves to the city from a small village and starts a successful granite business. His assistant at work Srinivasa Raju is a talented and a loyal man. Viswanatha Raju is so impressed that he offers his daughter, Mahalakshmi's hand in marriage to Srinivasa Raju. They get married and even have four children. Viswanatha Raju has two sons who also help him with the business. His older son Madhava Raju gets involved in some illegal activities and as a result gets kicked out of the house by his father. His younger son, Kalyan Raju is unlike his brother and always thinks of others. After Viswnatha Raju passes away, Srinivasa Raju and his brother-in-law, Kalyan Raju run the company. Time passes by and Srinivasa Raju and Mahalakshmi have a daughter named Renuka. As fate would have it, Renuka falls in love with Suresh who's the son of Madhava Raju. Srinivasa Raju and Madhava Raju's rivalry only gets worse when Renuka marries Suresh without the consent of her elders. This is where the story takes a twist and the rest of show has to be watched to know the interesting twists.
