One of the most representative Italian popular singers, Claudio Villa became famous nationwide in 1955, when he won the Sanremo Song Festival for the first time. During his career he won that prestigious award three more times (1957, 1962 and 1967), recorded more than 3000 songs, sold 45 million records worldwide, and starred in 25 musical movies.

Ospite di Lilli Gruber ad OTTO E MEZZO Tiziano Ferro "A me dispiace sempre quando si parla di Sanremo per le polemiche e mai per le canzoni, o comunque poco per le canzoni". Tiziano Ferro risponde così a Lilli Gruber nello studio di 'Otto e Mezzo', commentanto l'ultima edizione del Festival "Mi ricordo da piccolo i Sanremo in cui aspettavo l'esibizione dei cantanti ei super ospiti erano un po' l'interludio tra un'esibizione e un'altra, questo mi dispiace, a prescindere da Celentano", dice. E proprio in merito all'esibizione del 'Molleggiato' precisa: "Certo che mi piace, ma io ho una teoria che applicherei a tutti, anche a me stesso, e cioè che il cantante dovrebbe solo scrivere le canzoni e cantare e solo ogni tanto parlare... Insomma, io sono un po' per ad ognuno il suo". L'artista di 'Rosso relativo' e 'La differenza tra me e te' ha anche ribadito che quello uscito l'anno scorso "è l'ultimo disco che faccio con la Emi Music". "E' da quando ho 18 anni che sono sotto contratto - spiega Ferro - per cui voglio provare a essere libero ea dipendere solo da me. Non voglio andare con altri discografici, ma sto chiudendo un periodo della mia vita e per una volta voglio vivere da disoccupato e mettermi in aspettativa" .
