One picture video-full song Long Distance Calling are a German Post Rock band, formed in 2006 in Münster. Their melancholic tracks, usually lasting five or more minutes, are mostly instrumental, but some of them feature guest vocalists: Peter Dolving from The Haunted (The Very Last Day and Swallow the Water, album Satelite Bay) and Jonas Renkse from Katatonia (The Nearing Grave, album Avoid The Light). Long Distance Calling have released two singles and two full-length albums, both received very positively by critics: Satellite Bay (2007)and Avoid the Light (2009). In 2008 the band played at the Rock am Ring and Roadburn festivals;the band toured Germany in 2009. After over two years of contemplating, two months of preparing, and six hours of assembling and editing, I have finally done an anime/shanty pictorial clip of Drunken Sailor. This version was sung by The Seadogs and is has extensive lyrics. Just to let you know, for the sake of comedic posterity, some of the lyrics have been given a literal translation. I think this is a nice introduction to the summer. Please comment if you are able.
