US and Russian flights believed to be carrying candidates for a 14-person spy swap landed briefly in Vienna, apparently exchanged agents, then took off again, in the largest such deal since the Cold War. A Russian government plane apparently departed with 10 agents deported from the US, while the US plane that brought them in from New York left with four Russians who had confessed to spying for the West.

This was my dad's last flight as a check pilot in June of 2001. He was fortunate enough to fly the Commemorative Air Forces B-29 called "FiFi." It was (and still is) the last flying B-29 in the world. Since he never got a proper sendoff from the airline flying he did for so long, we thought it would be fun to celebrate his last B-29 flight. This was my first editing attempt using Apple's iMovie. I rode in the back seat of a T-6 with the canopy removed and my brother was in the fire truck. It was quite a thrill. The inside B-29 shots are from a flight I took in June of 1997. Note the Boeing 307 parked on the ramp as the B-29 taxis in. That was shot two weeks before that same Boeing 307 took a swim in Puget Sound. The 307 is on display now at the Smithsonian and the B-29 flies from Midland, TX. The maiden slope flight of a fantastic 5m wing span wooden glider, the "Wien". The model was flown on a glorious early april day, at Thurnham Castle, near Detling in Kent. This is a model of the glider flown by Robert Kronfeld in the 1920s, and 30s. a man who in a just world, would be a lot better known. He held numerous records for flying gliders. He was the first to cross the channel in a glider. As a Austrian jew, he escaped the Nazis, came to the UK, Became a test pilot, and during WW2 joined the RAF.

Comment and show us better videos please (again, SINGLE (=1, One) FLIGHT, REAL FPV= picture you are flying with)!!! 17th FPV helicopter flight Live video feed, video from onboard camera gets transmitted in real time to the video goggles. FPV= abbreviation for "First Person View" I think a FPV video consists of: 1) Picture Quality (Vibrations, interference, signal loss,...) An external HD camcorder on the plane is no real FPV, only the picture you are flying with counts! Of course HD is more beautiful but the title would be "Best FPV Flight Recorded with HD Onboard Camera" and not "Best FPV Flight" 2) Editing (Cutting, music,...) This video is only the proof that it was a single flight, watch the original video! 3) Pilot skills (Flying 3D or basic aerobatics, size of the helicopter: bigger is easier, flybarless= easier) 4) Location (Grand Canyon, big city ....) 5) Creativity (Chasing cars, firing rockets, crazy stunts...) 6) Thrill (High speed low pass, almost crash....) 7) Scale Plane+ Cockpit: 3 extra points Maybe a "risk factor" should be added to the rating: There is a huge difference if it is possible to see the plane/heli never again (over water, buildings, mountains) or if there is the danger to hurt people. The loss of money is included in the "Scale plane/cockpit" factor. My subjective rating of the original video (with video editing): Picture quality 4 of 5 Editing 5/5 Pilot skills 4/5 Location 5/5 Creativity 3/5 ...
