The last radio transmission - , "cursing the people who had put him inside a botched spaceship." - Vladimir Komarov, is about to, literally, crash full speed into Earth, his body turning molten on impact. Convinced he will never make it back to Earth; he's talking to Alexei Kosygin — then a high official of the Soviet Union. In 1967, both men were assigned to the same Earth-orbiting mission, and both knew the space capsule was not safe to fly. Komarov told friends he knew he would probably die. But he wouldn't back out because he didn't want Gagarin to die. Gagarin would have been his replacement. The story begins around 1967, when Leonid Brezhnev, leader of the Soviet Union, decided to stage a spectacular midspace rendezvous between two Soviet spaceships. The plan was to launch a capsule, the Soyuz 1, with Komarov inside. The next day, a second vehicle would take off, with two additional cosmonauts; the two vehicles would meet, dock, Komarov would crawl from one vehicle to the other, exchanging places with a colleague, and come home in the second ship. *Real* Cosmonaut Komarov Last Audio Recording and Transcript. It was declassified back in 2002. For everyone who knows Russian this audio is a radikal departure from recently published fake 'Komarov last audio' by Jamie Doran and Piers Bizony - last one combining various phrases in Russian in meaningless way. Last words of Komarov were to Gagarin, who was last person to talk to Komarov from mission control, was that service module of Soyuz is separated. After that all transmission was lost - as SM carried an antenna, and should be re-estabilished after reentry comm blackout and capsule main canopy release (antenna was a part of canopy lines) - that never happened. No 'crying in rage', no 'bad words to Kosygin' as you hear. last person Komarov (callsign Rubin) was talking to was Gagarin (callsign Zarya) Zarya - How do you feel? Rubin - I feel good. Everything is OK. Z. - Here comrades recommend you to breath deeper. Waiting for you at landing... R. - Thank you. Tell everyone. De[staging] occured. After destaging from service module and re-entry Soyuz lacks antennas and only retrieve ability to communicate after parachute deployed as antennas are put on canopy lines (as it happens with most other spaceship), that never did happen in case with Soyuz-1. Путешествие на Фобос совершат 50 видов земных странников: семена растений, бактерии и личинки комаров. Fobos-Grunt is an unmanned lander that will study Phobos and then return a soil sample to Earth. It will also study Mars from orbit, including its atmosphere and dust storms, plasma and radiation. It is currently scheduled to be launched in November 2011on a Zenit rocket launcher with a Fregat upper stage. The return vehicle is scheduled back to Earth on August 2014.
