The Search and Rescue team has located the debris of the crashed Sukhoi Superjet 100 on the mountainside in Bogor, West Java, Indonesia. Two rescue helicopters have reached the site and are using nets to collect the bodies of the victims. The Russian Sukhoi Superjet-100 crashed into Mount Salak, a volcano, during a demonstration on May 9, presumably killing all the 45 people on board. A Russian jet carrying 45 passengers has disappeared from the radars during a demonstration flight for potential buyers in the Indonesian capital. Hijacking and a high-altitude crash into a mountain have not been ruled out. The aircraft did not return to the airport at the scheduled time following takeoff, and its fuel should have been totally spent shortly thereafter. Shortly before going off the radar, the crew of the aircraft had asked for permission to descend, Russia's RIA Novosti news agency quotes an Indonesian aviation official as saying. It got permission to descend from an altitude of 10000 feet to 6000, after which radio contact was lost. Hijacking and a high-altitude crash into a mountain have not been ruled out. Due to low visibility and fog the helicopters had to stop the search and return to base. Rescue teams used climbing gear to scale the nearly sheer slopes of a dormant Indonesian volcano, hoping Friday to reach the wreckage of a Russian-made jetliner that crashed with 45 people aboard during a demonstration flight for potential buyers. Самолет Sukhoi SuperJet 100, который пропал 9 мая с радаров после показательного полета в Индонезии, обнаружен на склоне горы Салак на высоте 1,6 километра. По предварительным данным, SSJ-100 врезался в вертикальный склон горы, часть обломков осталась на склоне, часть упала вниз.
